A girl and her clothes
This has become pretty much a daily occurrence...she goes to the changing table under which her clothes are kept in seagrass baskets and picks out alot of different pieces, drops them on the floor, and then will "play" with them - suck on their tags, smell them (?), touch the different materials, and look at the various colors and patterns. It's quite adorable! What's really funny though is she only picks certain things - whichever ones grab her attention on that particular day I suppose. But she often wants me to get down the baskets as well and then takes every single piece out (as in the pic). It's definitely one of her favorite things right now - getting everything out!...Daddy and I try to pick it all up at night though so she can have the enjoyment of doing it all over again the next day :).
It's so hard to believe she's almost 9 months old. My goodness! How time flies. We really must remember (as a blog friend recently reminded me) to cherish all these little moments and memories with our babes (and capture them), because before I know it Lovebug will be throwing all her clothes around her closet trying to find the perfect outfit for the first day of high school or a first date...Oh my!

That is such a sweet photo! You are exactly correct. Flash forward in about 10 years and she'll be throwing the clothes all over her room looking for the 'perfect' outfit. And we wonder where they get this from... Hmmm...
I had to laugh when I saw this. Mine change outfits more than I blink in a day.
You are so right, they grow up so quickly. But it keeps getting better! My youngest is 4 years and my oldest is 14 (I only have the two), the older they get the more in love I am with who they are; Who we are all becoming together.
SO cute!I remember when rev would crawl under the kitchen sink and pull out ALL my cleaning towels, dish rags, etc. He loved playign with all of those!:) I miss those days! I guess I will have a crawler again soon though:) I am very much looking forward to it:)
So sweet. All the little girls I know love texture, tags, edges of clothes, colors.
OK, so I never grew out of it myself...
I remember my baby doing this with laundry (usually clean, thankfully) - unfolding and touching and experimenting and trying things on (as much as she could). Great for developing senses! She still (17 months now) loves clothes.
so so cute. my little girl loves her clothes too - her floor is still covered with them. i offered to help her clean up, or even clean up for her, but she said, "then i couldn't find anything!". one day her room will be clean. like when she's away at college.
